Ordered North Indian Chilli Garlic, but the dish had no heat from any chilli’s & tasted very bland. Waited twenty minutes over the time provided for uplift & found the food wasn’t hot after the short journey home. Disappointed because we had heard such good reviews of the food.

Had not had an Indian take away for quite some time so sent a WhatsApp message to all my neighbours asking for recommendations and Masti was mentioned numerous times so I ordered and was not dissapointed. This will be my go to Indian restaurant from now on.

I have eaten at hundreds of Indian takeaways and restaurants over the years, as having Coeliac's disease I can't eat wheat barley or rye. Masti only use wheat barley or rye in their breads and a small number of dishes. The vast majority are GF which is great for me. Most Indian food is the same. However, I always enjoy the food here. The restaurant at Morningside serves street food which is essentially smaller portions. Almost Indian tapas if you like. If you order takeaway the dishes are the full size, so watch out for that. The food is always lovely, we've never had any issues, and the owner and the staff always remember us which I like. Suggest you order from the restaurant and collect or order direct from Masti's own website, please don't use "Just xxx" or "Uxxx eats" or similar. These lunatics on the electric bikes are bonkers, endanger themselves and other road users, they don't have lights on their bikes, the don't obey the rules of the road and they take longer to arrive in my experience. Buy direct from Masti and make sure the profit goes to the restaurant that produce the high quality food, not the "xxx eats" etc App" owners. :)

I really didn't enjoy this meal. The pakora were barely warm in the centre and were very dense. The butter chicken curry was unpleasant, leaving a peculiar taste in my mouth and coming back on me for the next 12 hours. I would never visit again.
